We comply with occupational safety laws and regulations, and we also ensure that every employee has the right tools, safety equipment and instructions for safe work. We endeavor to ensure that every employee goes home healthy and happy.

For us, safety is a broader whole that goes beyond mere regulatory compliance. That's why we take safety thinking to the employees' homes. Among other things, you will find things related to fire safety and safe movement, which the employer has supported.

Our goal is an accident-free environment

Safety and well-being at work are important issues for Corex, which aims to ensure safety and zero accidents every day. We are doing long-term work to accomplish this goal.

Corex anticipates accidents and hazardous situations by gathering observations and initiatives using its occupational safety tool. Employee initiatives are recorded in the system on an annual basis in a commendable manner.

Training is part of our occupational safety culture. We train all employees and the content is always related to the job. For example, fire safety and chemical training, crane permit training and forklift training are available.

At Corex, cleanliness and order are part of occupational safety. We work continuously according to the 6S model to ensure the comfort and safety of factories and workplaces.

We sort all waste carefully. We also value the circular economy principle concerning waste and ensure that the waste we produce is further processed as much as possible.

We offer extensive support for well-being at work

Employee well-being stands on a safe and encouraging work environment. At Corex, considering employees in decision-making is paramount. We want employees to voice their opinions and concerns and to feel that the company acts upon them.

Well-being is also affected by healthy lifestyles and the relationship between work and leisure. Thus, we strive to promote employee well-being through several employment benefits. For example, Employee benefits management app and employee bicycles are used.

Furthermore, we organize an annual Corex ‘together in spirit’ well-being event for the staff and joint TYKY days.

We endeavor to maintain our employee’s health throughout their working careers and identify issues that threaten their ability to work at an early stage.
